How a collaboration runs

What else do artists ask?

Do you produce tour merch for Europe and the US?

Yes. GEKKO Agency produces tour merchandise and ships it from its own warehouse in Rotterdam to venues across Europe and to fans in 36+ countries. For legs outside Europe we plan stock and shipping per leg in the first conversation, so nothing arrives after the show.

Do you make festival merchandise?

Yes. We have made merchandise for festivals such as Tomorrowland, Afro Nation, Insomniac USA and Rolling Loud. For a festival we can take on the collection, the festival webshop and the shipping, with stock on site and online from one inventory in Rotterdam.

Can you run our Shopify store and customer service?

Yes, that is what we do for most of the 140+ stores we have built. Orders, payments, taxes, customer questions and returns are handled by our own team in Rotterdam, in your name. You keep the brand, the domain and the customer data. How we build and run official stores.

Is there a minimum order?

Merchandise for artists and festivals is quoted per project, so the quantity follows the pieces, the techniques and the plan. Garments in custom fabrics and colours made to order start at 250 pieces per style per colour.

How fast can a drop go live?

It depends on what exists. A drop from designs and fabrics we already have runs faster than a fully new collection, which needs roughly two weeks of sampling, four to eight weeks of production and two weeks of transport before stock lands in Rotterdam, depending on the project and the materials. We give you an indicative date in the proposal and tell you as soon as it changes.

How does pricing work without a price list?

Commercial terms depend on the programme, and we discuss them in the first conversation, not on a pricing page. What you can count on: one total quote before we start. If a cost we do not control rises after that, such as materials or transport, we tell you in writing before we invoice it.

How do you check quality?

Every piece is developed and sampled first, and you approve it before production. Production is checked at the production partner and again in Rotterdam before it reaches the store, the tour or the pop-up. How merch production is controlled.

Do you work with independent artists?

Yes, when there is an audience to sell to and a plan beyond one drop. We work with artists and festivals that sell merchandise year-round or in volume, and with artists starting their first run.

What happens with unsold stock?

It stays in our warehouse in Rotterdam and stays visible: you see stock and sales in your reporting. What we do with it, a year-round store, a later drop or a bundle, is agreed per programme.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. 100,000+ parcels a year leave our warehouse at Van Graftstraat 10 in Rotterdam for 36+ countries, with tracking and customer service in your name. Merch fulfilment from Rotterdam.

Do we keep our brand and our data?

Yes. The store carries your brand and your domain, and the customer data is yours. GEKKO Agency builds and runs the store for you, in your name.
