What this site does with your data, in plain words.

When you send an inquiry, we receive the answers you chose, your name, your organisation or artist name, your e-mail address, and anything you filled in optionally, such as a phone number, a link or a message. We also record the IP address and the browser identification of the submission, only to recognise and block abuse.

The inquiry is sent by e-mail to inquiries@gekkoagency.com, and our reply comes from that address; no automatic confirmation is sent. Nothing is added to a newsletter or a marketing list. We keep the inquiry in our mailbox for as long as the conversation or the collaboration that follows requires, and we delete it when you ask us to.

Sending runs through Resend, a mail service that processes the message in the European Union (Ireland). The form itself is processed on Vercel, in the European Union (Frankfurt). Both act as processors for GEKKO Agency and do not use your data for their own purposes.

Where a case page shows a video from YouTube, the page loads nothing from YouTube until you press play: the picture you see first is a copy on this site, and the link under it is a plain link.

When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, the privacy-enhanced mode of YouTube, and YouTube, a service of Google, handles that under its own terms and privacy policy, not under ours. GEKKO Agency receives nothing from it.

Applications do not go through a form on this site: the careers page asks you to e-mail your application, with your portfolio or an example of your work, to inquiries@gekkoagency.com. It arrives in the same mailbox as the inquiries.

We use what you send, such as your CV, your portfolio and your contact details, only to assess your application. We delete it, with everything you sent, within four weeks after the application procedure ends.

This site sets no cookies for tracking or advertising and loads no scripts from advertising networks or social platforms. The one exception is a YouTube video you choose to play; see YouTube above.

To know which pages are read, we use measurement that counts visits without identifying you: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no profile. It cannot tell who you are, and we do not try to find out.

Hosting on Vercel produces technical server logs, such as the requested page and a truncated address, kept briefly for security and reliability.

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it. One e-mail to inquiries@gekkoagency.com is enough; we answer within two working days and act within the legal terms.

If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
