How we work
You bring the brand, the audience and the decisions. We bring the rest.
How to choose a merch company: ask who does each link, from the design to the person who answers your fans. At GEKKO Agency one company carries the whole chain: design, production, the store, the warehouse and customer service. Nine steps from brief to restock, one dedicated project manager, and 500+ clients since 2013 who know how it runs.

How do you choose a merch company?
Ask who does each link: who designs, who produces and checks quality, who runs the store, where the stock is and who answers your fans. Every hand-off between companies is a place where a date or a piece can slip. At GEKKO Agency one company does all of it, with fixed production partners, with development, sampling and quality control by GEKKO.
How does artist merchandise work, from brief to restock?
| Step | What | You | GEKKO |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Brief | Who you are, what you sell today, what the next twelve months look like. | Listen, ask, and say honestly whether we fit. |
| 02 | Direction | Feedback on the direction and the frame. | Collection direction, store set-up, timeline and commercial model, in one document. |
| 03 | Design and samples | Approve every piece. | Design, garment development, tech packs, fitting and pre-production samples. |
| 04 | Production | Nothing; you receive progress reports. | Production at fixed production partners, quality checks there and in Rotterdam. |
| 05 | Store build | Brand assets, domain, decisions on range and pricing. | The store on Shopify, connected to the stock in Rotterdam. |
| 06 | Launch | Tell your audience. | Drop or launch planned so the stock is on the shelf before the announcement. |
| 07 | Fulfilment | Nothing. | Packing, shipping to 36+ countries, customer service and returns, in your name. |
| 08 | Reporting | Read, decide. | Sales and stock reported; the numbers match the warehouse because it is one stock. |
| 09 | Restock | Approve the next run. | Reorder, produce, receive, back on the shelf. |
Which forms of collaboration are there?
A project
One drop, one tour, one event: designed, produced, sold and shipped, then closed and reported.
A year-round store
The official store, run by GEKKO, with drops, restocks, customer service and reporting through the year.
A licence
For some brands GEKKO holds the merchandise licence and runs the business as its own, within the brand's standards.
What do we call managed commerce?
We run the store, the stock and the shipping. You own the brand and the audience. Every order, return and question is handled in your name from Rotterdam. The reporting matches the warehouse because it is one stock.
How does pricing work?
Commercial terms depend on the programme. We discuss them in the first conversation, not on a pricing page.
What else do clients ask?
With whom do you work?
Artists, festivals, brands and companies with an audience and a merchandise need that is year-round or in volume. Among them Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Max Verstappen, Eminem, Madonna, Calvin Harris. A first run is welcome too.
How does the conversation about money go?
Commercial terms depend on the programme. We discuss them in the first conversation, not on a pricing page. What we do promise here: one total quote before we start. If a cost we do not control rises after that, such as materials or transport, we tell you in writing before we invoice it.
Who is our contact?
A dedicated project manager, from the first conversation to the restock.
Can we use only part of the chain?
Yes. Some clients only produce with us; others only let us run the store and the fulfilment. Each link stands on its own.
What do you call this?
Managed commerce: we run the store, the stock and the shipping; you own the brand and the audience. It is our own name for it, not an industry term.
Tell us who you are and what you need.
A dedicated project manager replies within two working days.
