Merch production we control.
GEKKO Agency controls merch production from brief to inspection: garments developed to spec in our studio, screen printed and embroidered, and quality checked in Rotterdam before they ship, from a single drop to a year-round programme. We work with fixed production partners, with development, sampling and quality control by GEKKO. Since 2013, for 500+ clients, without a factory of our own and without pretending to have one.
What do we produce?
T-shirts and jersey, hoodies and fleece, woven shirts and trousers, outerwear and jackets, denim, knitwear, headwear, bags and accessories, jewellery and sunglasses, promotional items and point-of-sale material: for artists and festivals as merchandise, for companies as clothing and merchandise, and for brands as private label collections. How do we control quality?

What happens after merch production?
Production does not end when the pieces are made. They are inspected in Rotterdam, counted into our racks and go live in the store, on the tour truck or in the company portal from one stock. That is why one company does both: merch fulfilment from our own warehouse and the official store.

Where do you produce?
GEKKO Agency produces with fixed production partners it has worked with for years. We do not publish locations or partner names. Development, sampling and quality control are ours, in Rotterdam, and every production is checked against the sample you approved before it ships.
What is your minimum order?
It depends on the route. Merchandise for artists, festivals and companies is quoted per project. A private label collection with custom fabrics and colours starts at 250 pieces per style per colour; smaller numbers are agreed per project, with locally printed or embroidered blanks with a neck print or an embroidered neck label, or occasionally leftover fabric from an earlier production.
Do you work with sustainable materials?
Yes: organic and recycled fabrics from our library or developed for you. Certifications such as GOTS and OEKO-TEX, and SMETA audits, are available per production and issued to the production house. For Jägermeister we run the whole programme under their Meister Code, organic or recycled from the cotton plant to the packaging.
Which techniques do you offer?
Embroidery, 3D embroidery and EVA foam embroidery; screen print, puff print, discharge print and high density print; embossing and debossing; stitching details and constructions; woven, printed and custom labels, trims; washes and finishes; packaging.
Can we visit?
The studio and the warehouse in Rotterdam, by appointment: yes. That is where development, sampling and the final inspection happen. A visit to a production partner is possible by appointment too.
