The work we do ourselves.
GEKKO Agency is not a factory and does not pretend to be one. What we do ourselves in Rotterdam decides whether a collection is right: development, tech pack, pattern, sampling and fitting, fabric and colour approvals, the final inspection and the packaging. Production runs at fixed partners we have worked with for years, from 250 pieces per style per colour, checked against the sample you approved.
What do we do ourselves, in Rotterdam?

How do the production partners fit in?
Fixed production partners cut, sew and finish to our tech pack and the approved pre-production sample. We plan the production with them, order fabrics and colours, follow progress and check the result on their side and again in Rotterdam. Certifications such as GOTS and OEKO-TEX, and SMETA audits, are available per production and issued to the production house. We show you the scope.

What exactly do you do yourselves, and what do the partners do?
At GEKKO Agency, development, tech pack, pattern, sampling, fitting, fabric and colour approvals, the final inspection and the packaging specification are ours, in Rotterdam. Cutting, sewing and finishing happen at fixed production partners we have worked with for years, with full quality checks on their side as well.
Where are the production partners?
We do not publish locations or partner names. What we do publish is how we control the result: the approved pre-production sample is the standard, and every production is checked against it at the partner and again in Rotterdam.

Which certifications apply?

Can we visit?
The studio and the warehouse at Van Graftstraat 10 in Rotterdam, by appointment: yes. That is where development, sampling and the final inspection happen. A visit to a production partner is possible by appointment too.
